Job Description The Casino Compliance Officer is responsible for monitoring all regulatory changes in the gaming industry, with emphasis in Tribal Gaming, ensuring communication of new requirements, and assist Casino Management in revising, reviewing, and updating the Casino’s System of Internal Controls as may be required, as well as all Casino policy and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal, state and tribal requirements.  The Casino Compliance Officer  (with assistance and execution by the Gaming Commission and Casino Management) is responsible for the continual development and implementation of an extensive Internal Control and Policy and Procedure program covering all major lines of compliance within the Tribal Gaming Facility. This position has been created for evaluating and assessing the risks associated with proposed system of internal controls and policies and procedures, as well as regulatory mandates and impact on the tribal gaming industry, including coordination, communication and compliance with the Tribe’s Facility Ordinance.
Qualifications Applicant must possess at least an A.S. or A.A. from an accredited college; or two years of regulatory, auditing, or investigating experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
